Currently, we are looking to add an Analytical Chemist to our ISO Quality Control team:
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Chemical analyses, analytical method development, and validation for small molecule, synthetic compounds to support our growing Forensic and Cannabis testing catalogs.
- Conduct method development and validation for new products/projects, including materials containing complex mixtures.
- Routine testing of synthetic compound using analytical techniques such as HPLC, LCMS, GCFID, GCMS, FTIR, NMR, KF, LOD and ROI analyses, following standard operation procedures.
- Interpret and peer review analytical test data and corresponding documents for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Experience: 5 years (with Bachelor’s), 2 years (with Master’s).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience performing HPLC method development and method validation.
- Proficient in instrumental analysis including HPLC, GC, NMR, FTIR, KF and mass spectrometry; preference given to experience with LC-MS/MS.
- Availability to work on-site in Ann Arbor, Monday through Friday.

- Routine testing of synthetic compounds using analytical techniques such as HPLC, LCMS, GCFID, GCMS, FTIR, NMR, KF, LOD and ROI analysis, following standard operating procedures.
- Conduct method development and validation for new products/projects, including materials containing complex mixtures.
- Interpret and peer review analytical test data and corresponding documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in the drafting and implementation protocols specific to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 standard requirements.
- Participate in general lab upkeep as well as maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- May attend conferences, present posters, and write scientific papers.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field.
- Experience: 2 years of lab experience including HPLC method development and method validation. LC-MS/MS experience desired.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
- Proficient in instrumental analysis including HPLC, GC, NMR, FTIR, KF and mass spec.
- Availability to work on-site in Ann Arbor, Monday through Friday.
