Casa Verde Capital (‘CV’) is a venture firm that focuses exclusively on the cannabis industry. We are building a portfolio around a view that the legal cannabis industry is and will continue to be one of the most compelling categories of our generation.
CV is looking to hire an experienced and talented Executive Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles to support our Managing Partner and Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career in a firm with a great company culture. The person in this role will also have the opportunity to scope and execute on special cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Calendar management for busy executives - often complex and in various time zones
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation of meetings, appointments, conference calls and events
- Book, schedule, and maintain global travel
- Act as a respectful gatekeeper for the executives
- Anticipate needs and manage to-do lists/reminders frequently
- Explore and implement systems to maximize efficiency
- Maintain contact list database
- Assist with organizing internal documents and files
- Compile expense and financial reports
- Manage some personal appointments and affairs including doctor visits, personal travel and other ad hoc requests
- General administrative duties and high-level executive support as requested
- Office management duties (when back in an office) - maintain day-to-day needs of the office including ordering supplies & food, managing subscriptions, being the main point of contact for any building maintenance issues etc.
Skills and Requirements:
- At least 3 years applicable experience
- Highly organized, efficient, and demonstrate superior attention to detail
- Professional, sophisticated communication skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and solve problems quickly, resourcefully and competently
- Team oriented and generous but can succeed as an individual contributor
- Ability to anticipate current and future needs and to create an action plan to achieve them
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
- Excited to take on new challenges and responsibilities
- Open and clear communicator: can give and receive feedback and communicates freely and openly
- Microsoft Office, Google Suite, social media and database experience - tech savvy

This position is currently remote for health and safety, but we are looking for someone who is able to work in our LA office once available.
