Cannavative seeks part-time Brand Ambassadors in Reno. You will play a vital role in representing our brand with enthusiasm and passion at local dispensaries, in-store events and promotions.
As an Cannavative Brand Ambassador, you will create a unique and inviting customer experience to increase brand awareness and build customer loyalty, ultimately driving in-store sales.
The ideal candidates will be outgoing, sharp, and hungry to learn on their feet in a growth industry
Responsibilities
- Execute in store demos and event activations at dispensaries in Nevada
- Understand our product suite in order to educate potential consumers and budtenders
- Coordinate with CVG sales rep on scheduling, product levels, display areas, and demo guidelines
- Organize branded assets, equipment and product
- Be engaging, persuasive, upbeat and approachable -- you are an expert on the Island product suite, can gauge consumer needs and interests, and know how to upsell!
- Track consumer engagement, feedback and preferences
- Be the eyes and ears of Cannavative from the field: report on observations regarding retail accounts as well as competitor activity
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma
- Minimum one year of experience in sales, as a Brand Ambassador or other customer facing role is ideal
- Experience professionally presenting and engaging with individuals and groups via in-store demos
- Must be 21+ and possess a current valid Drivers License and reliable mode of transportation
- Able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays (average 20-35 hours per week)
- Strong on site presentation skills with the ability to plan, attend and coordinate demos and special events
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills - you make a strong first impression!
- You can work autonomously and are self-motivated
- Cannabis product and industry expertise a plus
Physical Requirements
- Remain standing/walking for extended amounts of time daily
- Regularly lift 25 lbs
- Ability to work in an adverse environment with varying temperatures and conditions seasonally

JUNIOR CULTIVATOR
Job Description
Cannavative is seeking a Junior Cultivator to join our Cultivation Team. This team is responsible for the operation of the Cultivation tasks including transplanting, up-potting, plant maintenance, defoliation, new flower set ups, mulching, and cleaning in a large-scale indoor/outdoor grow operation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Setting up coco blocks and transplanting clones into them
- Taking smaller coco block and up-potting it to a 1 gallon
- Taking fan leaves from plants to allow for light and air penetration
- Setting up new flower environments
- Mulching and disposing of all plant waste
- Daily cleaning and organizing
- Adhere to all Cannavative safety and compliance policies and procedures
- Willing to assist in grow modifications that at times will require light construction/maintenance
CULTIVATION FLOATER
Cannavative is seeking a Cultivation Floater to join the Cultivation Team. This person is flexible, adaptable, and willing to support the Cultivation Team in a variety of different job duties based on needs assessed by management. The Floater position is responsible for proper plant maintenance, thorough cleaning of grow environments, mulching plant waste, and aiding the other Cultivation team members as needed. This person will gain comprehensive knowledge of general Cultivation operations and the skills to fill in where needed.
Primary Responsibilities:

Full Job Description
Cannavative is seeking a Harvest Technician to join our Trimming, Harvest and Cure (THC) Team. This team ensures that our plants are harvested, dried, cured, trimmed, and packaged appropriately prior to shipping to all Nevada dispensaries.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Defoliation of plants prior to and day of harvest
- Removal of dried flower from stalks
- Sorting dried flower to determine tops from bottoms
- Occasional hand trimming of cured flower
- Weighing trimmed flower and packaging in appropriate containers
- Daily cleaning of dry/cure/trim environments utilizing cleaning logs
Required Prerequisites:
- Must have ability to stand for duration of shift
- Must be able to start early or stay late upon request
