The Lab Analyst / Chemist will be responsible for performing instrument maintenance, sample analysis, and data review to ensure timely and accurate data is released to our clients.

- Remain up-to-date on all SOPs and maintain documentation required for compliance.
- Assist in maintaining the laboratory for ISO/NELAC accreditation standards and future audits.
- Ensure adequate inventory of laboratory supplies.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university and at least 2 years of lab experience.
- Exceptional wet laboratory technique and ability to write documentation according to ISO/NELAC standards
- Familiarity with data entry and database management (Library Information Management System).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- QA experience is a plus
- Experience in method development and validation is an advantage.

The Lab Technician will be responsible for receiving, batching, preparing, and loading samples on our instruments to ensure the generation of timely and high-quality data.
Responsibilities
- Perform wet chemistry techniques for sample preparation for both quality and compliance testing
- Conduct laboratory analysis of hemp and cannabis products, and recording of laboratory test data and results
- Ensure maximum output of the laboratory by improving and optimizing laboratory processes and operations
- Perform daily maintenance of team area and equipment being used
- Execution of laboratory-specific operations, and implementation of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Remain up-to-date on all SOPs and maintain documentation required for compliance.
- Assist in maintaining the laboratory for ISO/NELAC accreditation standards and future audits.
- Work on projects assigned by lab management and work in collaboration with other technicians.
- Maintain a safe, clean, stocked, well-organized, and efficient laboratory work environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's Degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university; or an Associate’s Degree with at least 2 years of lab experience.
- Familiarity with data entry and database management (Lab Information Management System).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Candidates with GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, and/or LC-MS/MS instrumentation and software experience will be given preference.
