Cana Sylmar is a Cannabis Dispensary located in Sylmar, California.

The Receptionist role is a fast-paced, high-performance position responsible for answering phone calls, coordinating, monitoring, verifying identification and POS check in operations of a Cannabis Dispensary. You will be entrusted to bring about world-class customer service that would generate loyalty and repeat patronage. This position requires advanced multitasking skills.

Previous experience in Cannabis Dispensary work particularly in handling reception duties, verifying identification, and organizing paperwork is a must; while IndicaOnline POS Software and Weedmaps experience is greatly preferred.

You must have an open availability as the scheduling may very monthly to include days, weekend, evenings, and holidays. We are open 365 days a year.

Position Summary:

As a front desk receptionist, you are responsible for verifying identification in and out of the system, ensuring the patient profile is up to date and correct, informing consumers about deals and events while maintaining high energy. In addition, you will assist with updating Weedmaps and Leafly. It is a position that entails specific requirements such as strict state guidelines, product knowledge, and working well individually, or as a team.

Job Qualifications:

- Must be a California Resident with no felony convictions, successfully pass a background check and be a minimum of 21 years of age.

- Must have a high school diploma.

- Previous office or retail experience is required; Cannabis experience is preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft office and POS (cashier) systems; Experience with Indica Online and Weedmaps is preferred.

- Must have a professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor.

- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.

-Must be able to enter data and determine proper identification.

- Must have strong organizational and analytical abilities and advanced math skills.

- Must demonstrate both professional written and verbal communication skills.

- Must have reliable transportation.
