Full Job Description:
We’re looking for results-driven Marketing Coordinatorto promote Alamo Botanicals’ stores, products, and brand recognition by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns. Must have a passion for the cannabis industry, be driven to end the stigma and committed to educating consumers. This position requires an individual who is a team player and can work independently within their scope of responsibilities, anticipate problems, and use sound judgement to act appropriately. This is a high-volume position that requires attention to detail, initiative, and consistent accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task are essential.

Qualifications:
- Passionate about the Hemp plant, its properties and potential, and the Cannabis Industry as a whole
- Previous marketing or advertising experience in both retail and B2B in the CBD/cannabis industry preferred but will also consider experience in similar industries
- Experience in developing marketing strategies for print, online, and social media platforms
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Willing to take initiative
- Experience in a hyper-growth/start-up organization preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all Social Media platforms ensuring posts are up-to-date and relevant; respond to questions and comments in a timely manner and ensure Alamo Botanicals is in compliance with all regulations on all Social Media platforms
- Communicate to store managers and staff all upcoming promotions, sales and events and ensure they are aware of begin and end dates and other pertinent information
- Maintain promotional materials inventory and event checklists
- Collaborate with upper management team on upcoming marketing opportunities and to coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks
- Research and plan trade show & local industry event participation
- Coordinate with graphics, branding, and marketing vendors for promotional materials
- Collaborate with other departments as marketing materials for their clientele arise
- Monitor hemp and cannabis industry marketing news and report on emerging trends to upper management

We’re looking for results-driven professional salespeople with previous sales experience to actively seek out and engage customer prospects for product distribution. Qualifications:
- 1 year previous sales experience in both retail and B2B in the CBD/cannabis industry preferred but will also consider alcohol sales, pharmaceutical sales, retail sales and other outside sales/customer service professionals
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to pitch products to retailers at all levels
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Willing to take initiative
- Experience in a hyper-growth/start-up organization preferred
Responsibilities:
- Present, promote and sell CBD (and other cannabinoid-containing) products to existing and prospective customers
- Analyze needs of existing/potential customers and present new opportunities
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
- Effectively showcase product line
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales and report to management team
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and other pertinent terms
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Follow established SOP for sales tracking
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
- Provide ongoing education to all clients

- Process payments using POS system
- Inform customers of our rewards program, upcoming sales/discounts, and future merchandise of potential interest
- Stock shelves and product displays and take inventory as directed
- Resolve customer problems with products & refer to lead consultant or manager if needed
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of product area and ancillary rooms of the store
- Maintain positive working relationships with store employees and customers in a professional manner
