Position Summary-
This is a full-time outbound wholesales position; availability must be flexible up to 6 days a week if need be. Outbound sales require in-person and remote account management. Some driving is required, you must have adequate (safe) reliable personal transportation.
The primary charge of this position is ensuring sales performance for Plum Manufacturing products to Colorado licensed dispensaries (rec/med)
These duties include cultivating new and existing relationships, completing the sales process as trained, tracking customer account performance data, gathering feedback, providing budtender training, and hosting demonstration/promotional events.
The Wholesale Sales Rep is the first point of contact for client engagement and therefore the customer service at this level must be exemplary. This position requires direct and passive communication with the MIP and Grow to coordinate the fulfillment of sample and sales orders, and to facilitate sales from start to finish.
The Wholesale Sales Rep will coordinate/facilitate promotional events for partnering brands to attend and participate. Whether it’s an in-person or remote promotional event the details of this event must be CLEARLY communicated, scheduled, and approved by the MIP director. The Sales Rep is responsible for the organization of ALL discount offers, promotional materials, marketing assets, and branded giveaways materials.
Sales Metrics and Objectives-
This position requires diligent record-keeping and data entry in order to track sales metrics.
Objectives:
- Recruiting or Onboarding 3-4 New Locations per week
- Continually help the sales team grow sales month over month
- Grow sales to outpace production
Job Duties/Essential Functions
Identify potential customers, initiate and manage prospects through the sales process of sampling and gathering product feedback.
- Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
- Utilize selling techniques and market strategies to expand and build upon client base
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling (phone calls, texting, emailing, and in-person)
- Achieve agreed upon sales objective/metrics and outcomes within schedule
- Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
- Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, market presence, etc. Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Occasional weekend work may be required to support promotional events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

· Ability to accurately communicate and follow direction from the Director of Sales (direct report)

Pay: $40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
