The Farm is seeking a Cannabis Service Representative (CSR) - Budtender with experience consultatively selling products to retail guests while consistently delivering provide world class guest service. We are seeking skilled salespeople who understand how to identify a guest’s needs and recommends a product set whose features and benefits align with those needs. Individuals with cannabis industry knowledge and the ability to educate guests on different strains/benefits, terpenes, delivery systems and share their personal experiences with the product preferred.
The CSR - Budtender at The Farm is a unique hybrid of guest advocate, cannabis subject matter expert, salesperson, relationship builder and team player. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, scrappy, hard-working, well organized and kind; and has a desire to help create memorable guest experiences, grow a company’s sales and profitability and share best practices to ensure their whole team and store is successful as well.

Responsibilities
Sales & Guest Service
· Immediately welcome and check-in guests upon entry to The Farm according to company policy and state/local regulatory guidelines.
· Engage guests in a consultative sales conversation to understand needs, recommend products and ensure guests leave The Farm with the products they need and a memorable experience.
· Communicate current sales or special offers.
· Upsell guests on accessories, supplementary products and The Farm branded merchandise.
· Consistently provide accurate information on product features, benefits and attributes.
· Enroll guests in the company loyalty program by explaining benefits; complete enrollment process in Biotrack.
· Properly label and package product according to state and local regulations.
· Maintain a consistently positive, upbeat and professional demeanor when interacting with both guests, peers and superiors.
· Manage incoming calls, voicemails and web-orders as needed.
· Distribute closing reports internally.
· Perform other duties as assigned, according to the needs of the business.
Sidework
· Communicate with co-workers and store leaders to understand product availability, packaging/merchandising needs and any relevant promotions or out of stock items.
· Perform inventory audits as needed/directed.
· Package or label incoming stock as needed.
· Create and/or update product menus throughout the day (including chalk boards and online forums).
· Replenish displays to ensure product stock is always cleanly and professionally merchandised.
· Clean work area thoroughly and consistently during downtime.
· Assist store leadership in identifying, interviewing and selecting new team members.
Knowledge Cultivation
· Develop an understanding and expertise on all things cannabis; take personal accountability for delivering accurate information.
· Learn and understand all systems needed to properly process sales.
· Review all important updates provided in email, conference call or in-person.
· Mentor newer sales representatives to ensure they are adequately prepared to provide exceptional guest service, process sales and do so according to regulatory guidelines.
· Regularly share best practices to ensure all team members benefit from newly gained knowledge or information.
Requirements
· High School Graduate Required, some college a plus.
· 1-3 years of sales experience in a retail environment.
· 1+ years of cannabis industry experience preferred.
· Proven history of effective cash management experience.
· Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
· Must have or be able to obtain a Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge.

Physical Requirements: Role requires prolonged periods of standing for up 8 hours per day; with consistent multi-tasking. May be required to stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach or perform repetitive motions within the course of a regular shift. Ability to clearly communicate in written or verbal form required; bi-lingual abilities a plus and should be communicated in the interview process. Retail environment may be both loud and crowded to ability to remain focused and productive in this environment is required. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs required. This role has a constant demand to operate a computer and other office equipment.

Salary: DOE (rate includes KPI based variable compensation component)
