We are looking for a competent Production and Inventory Manager with cannabis experience to manage a small production team and monitor and report company’s inventory. Responsibilities

- Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
- Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
- Analyze data to anticipate future needs
- Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
- Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
- Report to upper management on production status, stock levels, issues etc.
Skills
- Proven experience as an inventory manager or similar position
- Previous cannabis industry experience
- Familiararity with Metrc preferred

POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Inventory Manager will be responsible for keeping up-to-date product inventory of all bulk cannabis inventory. The Inventory Manager (and team where applicable) will be responsible for grading, sorting, tracking and reporting to the Director or VP of Production. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, well organized and have Inventory Management experience in a high-throughput company, possess strong analytical thinking, communication, attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills with a heavy focus on numbers and accounting. Strong computer skills are a must.

COMPENSATION
- $68,000/yr - $78,000/yr (experience dependent)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively communicate with management to ensure business has consistent supply of inventory available to meet needs
- Develop and maintain inventory programs as “audit-ready” at all times
- Monitor levels and quality of all products in the department including non-medicated goods and raw materials
- Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and Company Standards in all activities under your supervision
- Provide oversight and coaching to team members to ensure highest level of efficiency and output
- Actively participate in management meetings and report inventory levels, test results and provide solutions based commentary
- Collaborate closely with Company departments to include Sales, Retail, Finance, Production, & Compliance
- Assist in all duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company maintain success

QUALIFICATIONS

- Cannabis industry experience (preferred)
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Handling cannabis products and packaged goods
- Indoor production/warehouse-like environment
- Industrially lit rooms featuring heavy machinery sounds at times
- Plant pollen and extraction fumes may be present on surfaces and in the air
- Protective suits may be required (provided on site)
- Kneeling, squatting, lifting (up to 30 lbs.), bending, twisting, walking, pivoting, and long-term standing (all expected activities)
