Operations and Supply Chain Manager
Reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

You will be joining a company whose mission is to elevate the culture of cannabis through a collective of mission-driven individuals working together to realize the true potential and power of the cannabis plant. We do this through education, innovation, relationship building, technology, supply chain empowerment and utilization of business as a force for good.
We are seeking an experienced leader for the ultimate responsibility for efficiency & effectiveness of operations and the supply chain. The goal of this position is to secure the functionality of the business and to drive extensive, sustainable growth. You will serve as the connective tissue across the business to ensure execution and information flow within and across all departments.
You will:
- Oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures
- Implement business operation SOPs
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
- Monitor comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Oversee daily operations: distribution & supply chain
- Drive results through employee engagement, coaching and development
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Write and submit reports the CEO in all matters of importance
- Assist the CEO and participate in expansion activities (buildouts, planning, processes, phasing in of additional facilities)
- Curate, maintain and manage strong partner relationships with vendors
- P&L responsibility for your department
- Implement lean manufacturing strategies to improve processes to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency
- Utilize project management software to identify and schedule tasks, maintain records, and aid in decision making
- Delegate and assign responsibilities to employees on the production line for each project
- Monitor compliance
- Participate in the development & formulation of product prototypes
- Maintain training procedures and continuing education on SOPs and methodology to ensure top performance of all processes
- Supervise and maintain records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (strongly desired)
- Proven experience in an operations management or supply chain management role
- Deep understanding of cross-functional teams within human resources, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, compliance and finance
- Demonstratable competencies in strategic planning and business development
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operations metrics
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Advanced computer technology skills: Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel, google docs, ERP
- Ownership, accountability and intuitive of quality outcomes
- Ability to build and retain a positive team atmosphere
- Adept with safety and OSHA as well as California cannabis compliance
- Patient, keen ability to thrive in a demanding and, at times, stressful environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $81,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
