Within the Data Analytics & Policy Research unit, the incumbent will use business analysis techniques to elicit requirements for outlining the Office of Cannabis Management’s business needs (e.g., workshops, focus groups, interviews, observation, brainstorming, surveys/questionnaires, system enhancements, project change requests) based on regulatory needs, industry surveillance, and program metrics.

- Communicate with business process and system requirements for ITS staff, program staff and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the development of use cases for testing project enhancements to ensure provided scope meets the approved requirements.
- Assist with writing business system documentation.
- Assist with training users on the new IT functional requirements.
- Conduct data analysis and recommend system enhancements and improvements to benefit program objectives.
- Serve as a liaison with ITS staff for IT projects and procurements.
