Curaleaf's Associate HR Generalist is a professional who completes administrative duties for the Florida team. They will assist our Florida HR managers with maintaining employee records, assist with onboarding and provide administrative support to all employees. Along with administering policies relating to all phases of human resources and are responsible but not limited to the duties below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter all Florida team members into our employee Database
- Upload new hire documents
- Add photo to profile
- Track new hires
- Process drug test for new hires as needed
- Process level 1 background
- Process level 2 background
- Send level 2 clearance to manager
- Assist with FMLA, ADA, and Unemployment claims
- Worker's Comp support
- Assist safety manager with wage statements
- New Hire announcements
- Promotion letter
- Assist on site team Members
- WURK account
- WURK requests
- Miscellaneous
- Print ID Badges
- Temp Payroll, referrals, and other incentives as required.
- New Hire offers for Temp's Converting
- Send team members W2 instructions
- I9s, uploading and updating as needed
- VOE's
- Org Charts
- Employee Changes in employee database
Recommended Qualifications
- 2-4 years' experience in compliance and HR
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a Plus
- This role is not remote, you will be required to work onsite
- Experience with Background Check Systems and DOH compliance
- WURK, Greenhouse, Checkr experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent people and organizational skills
- Excellent people and organizational skills
- A sense of urgency, high energy, and hands-on approach
- Proficient computing skills
- Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction
