The person for this role needs to be service-oriented, goal-oriented, a self-starter, organized, and an effective influencer while having a high-level of cannabis-related product knowledge. You will be the face of our company in the eyes of the individuals you will supporting as well as with potential B2B clients and retail consumers. The person in this role will also be visiting licensed dispensaries ensuring products are displayed properly, educating retail store staff members on the company’s products, delivering promotional, educational, and sales-focused at various locations throughout Southern California.
Key Responsibilities
· Assisting in the recruiting, onboarding, and providing continuous development to others.
· Traveling to dispensary/retail store locations within assigned territory to support assigned stores.
· Ensuring self and Sales Representatives are facilitating in-store Visits, Demo Days, Budtender, and other Staff Members’ education.
· Capturing and reporting Daily, Weekly and Monthly sales-related data and activities.
· Calling on dispensary/retail locations to follow up and schedule future Store Visits, Budtender Educations Events, and In-store Demo Days.
· Calling customers to create top-of-mind awareness and check on Client’s product re-ordering needs.
· Managing and securing various account information.
· Performing other duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
· Representing Biscotti at dispensaries/retail locations and other events by educating Buyers, Budtenders, Retail Store Operators and Consumers about Biscotti and Tutti products via Budtender Education, Product Demos, Consumer Workshops, etc.
· Becoming a Subject Matter Expert by maintaining a high-level of product and brand knowledge.
· Being comfortable sharing brand message and product-related information.
· Being on-site and on-time for and all scheduled Store Visits & Special Events and training sessions.
· Securing, storing, transporting, distributing, and maintaining inventory levels of company provided Demo Kits, Marketing Collateral and Training Materials.
· Assisting in training and supporting Brand Ambassadors.
· Tracking and reporting all In-store Visits, Demo Days and other Special Events and activities as per company standards.
· Completing the set up and tear down of in-store Demo Days and Special Event site elements.
· Tracking performance of Demos, inventory, and collecting customer feedback.
· Maintaining professional conduct and personal appearance in-line with company standards.
· Completing all required company training as directed.
· Building strong relationships with team members, customers/retailers, and consumers.
· Creating and maintaining accurate Dispensary Profiles.
· Assessing, tracking, and reporting on competitors' products and local marketing activities.
· Completing all required Expense Reports and submitting all necessary company expenses and receipts for reimbursement within the company’s required timeframes.
· Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times.
· Maintaining company and public health restrictions, protocols, and standards at all times.
Requirements – Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Experience)
· In-depth knowledge of the licensed cannabis/marijuana industry.
· Familiarity with cannabis dispensaries throughout Southern California.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline or related experience.
· Must have strong customer service experience serving and supporting internal and external customers.
· Demonstrated track-record of professionalism and driving results.
· Sales experience and a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments:
- Minimum of 4+ years (B2B) Business-to-Business Sales and/or (B2C) Business-to-Consumer Sales.
- Multi-unit Leadership experience as an Area Manager, District Manager or Regional Manager is a plus.
· 4 years’ experience in customer service; as well as experience in retail, cannabis, food service or hospitality industries.
· Must have a strong interpersonal skills and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of people.
· Professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
· Energetic and confident in engaging with others including retail store personnel and consumers.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc. and/or Google applications.
