Part-time Schedule
- Monday - Friday: OFF
- Saturday: 12:00pm-8:00pm/20 min break (7.67)
- Sunday: 12:00pm-6:00pm/20 min break (5.67)

Fulfillment Associates fulfill customer orders in real time, as they are placed by sales associates. They are responsible for reading order tickets, selecting the correct items, and putting the items in the customerās bag accordingly. This associate acts in a junior role and reports directly to the Manager In Charge (MIC).
To ensure success as a Fulfillment Associate, you should have a good understanding of where inventory is located, a good eye for detail, the ability to multi-task, the ability to return to a task after being interrupted, and the ability to stand on your feet for up to 5 hours at a time. Ultimately, a top-class Fulfillment Associate processes customer orders quickly and efficiently, while adhering to compliance standards.
Applicants must:
- Enjoy structured work environments that feature repetition. For example, inventory tracking, product packaging, and product labeling.
- Enjoy working independently. The applicant will be required to work independently of others.
- Thrive in environments that require focus. Inventory management, product packaging, and product labeling each require focus and attention to detail. Candidates must be able to perform duties without becoming distracted.
Preferences:
- Residents of Washington D.C.
- Residents of wards 6, 7, and 8
- Has experience using retail/point of sale software
- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Previous experience in either the āillicitā or legal industry
Order Fulfillment Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage containers
- Confirming merchandise information matches that of the order ticket
- Enter online express orders into the point of sale system accurately
- Enter curbside pickup orders into point of sale system accurately
- Enter home delivery orders into point of sale system accurately
- Communicating restocking needs to inventory associates for replenishment
- Receive communication from Front Desk Admin when online order express orders are ready for pickup
- Communicate with online express/curbside pickup orders via text message in real-time
- Update hard copy of Pre-roll menu
- Update online āHigh Roadā menu in real time
- Report when inventory is in the incorrect room in our point of sale system
- Report any discrepancies to inventory manager
- Record inventory discrepancies as directed
- Keep track of when key supplies are running low and report to Management for restocking
- Stock merchandise neatly, and according to policy
- Complete internal home delivery records
Legal Requirements as per ABRA
- Must be 21 and over
- Must not have a non-cannabis related misdemeanor or felony on criminal background check; cannabis related offenses are okay
- Must pass criminal background check
Other Musts
- Must be able to provide a reference from at least one previous employer
- Must be able to work schedule outlined; days/hours are not flexible
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work
- Kinfolk is moving from Eastern Market (Southeast) to the Golden Triangle (Northwest) in 9 months or so; must have reliable transportation to new location
- Must have cell phone or a way to contact you outside of work hours
- Must be Google Drive and Microsoft Word proficient
- Must be able to come to work early bright, energetic and ready to put your best foot forward
