We're looking for a self motivated, outgoing and organized sales representative!
*Cannabis Sales Experience a plus*
Candidate Requirements:
- Preferred 1-year experience working for a reputable cannabis brand
- Preferred existing direct relationships with dispensary buyers
- Must be proficient in building and maintaining professional relationships with both prospective and existing clients
- Must be highly self-motivated and results-driven
- Must be an exceptional communicator (You must actively communicate with the Owner or Head of Sales to ensure that orders are fulfilled and all corresponding payments collected in a timely manner)
- Strives to seek new business opportunities within the territory
- Must have proactive methods with proven results
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Must reside in the Central Oregon area and have a valid Oregon Driver’s license with reliable means of transportation
- Must have extensive knowledge and a passion for the cannabis industry (obviously!)
- Trustworthy
- Strong verbal/written communication skills are a must
- Willing to do what it takes to be successful in a highly competitive market
Responsibilities:
- Open, maintain, and grow sales territory through retail accounts
- Develop and sustain great relationships with account decision-makers and industry personnel
- Utilize fact-based data and leverage marketing collateral to boost sales and strengthen relationships
- Effectively represent the brand with integrity, professionalism, and immense knowledge of brand culture
- Maintain a positive working partnership (it's the cannabis industry, after all!)
- Monitor sales and marketing program execution
- Submit orders accurately and on time when received
- Work with all departments to analyze and resolve any outstanding issues in the market
- A rudimentary knowledge of cannabis regulations, laws, and compliance
- Plan own schedule, prioritize time spent with accounts, administration, and other duties
