Cannabis Trades Specialist Bridge Region 8 Jobs

Four years of full time experience in a trade related to bridge repair, maintenance and construction under a skilled journey level worker which would provide training equivalent to that given in an apprenticeship program. Apprentice training in a bridge or mechanical trade or training gained by completion of a technical course in a bridge or technical trade at a school or institute may be substituted for the above on a year-for-year basis. At the time of appointment, candidates must possess a valid New York State Operator's license for the type of vehicles operated.

The incumbent will perform a variety of skilled activities associated with the repair and maintenance and supervises a bridge repair sub-crew on small bridge repair and maintenance Operational Guidelines.
Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
