In this role, you will focus on primarily social media marketing efforts aligning with and in support of overall brand strategy and marketing goals. Responsibilities

*Lead organic social media strategy, including growth and engagement on existing platforms (mainly Instagram and Facebook) *Own the development and execution of the social media content calendar, including writing copy, creating compelling visual assets, and identifying user-generated content to feature on social channels as appropriate *Manage all community engagement including responding/engaging in a timely manner *Work with designer to develop custom campaign assets, providing clear guidance, copy and creative direction *Track social media analytics and present monthly reports on social media performance based on established KPIs *Knowledge of or a willingness to learn social media management tools like Hootsuite and Sprout Social *Assist with influencer marketing strategy to build brand awareness and engagement *Stay current on all social media platform updates, monitoring trends and activity of companies across the industry

Qualifications

*Passionate about social media and storytelling, with 2+ years of social media experience, including content development, social analytics and community management *Excellent copywriting and communications skills with strong attention to detail *Strong visual aesthetic and ability to understand what makes compelling content *Ability to think on your feet and make real-time decisions about job priorities *Great time management and organizational skills *Flexible and open to changing and evolving responsibilities in a fast-growing company *A solid understanding of the social media landscape including platforms (existing and emerging), and challenges/restrictions related to cannabis *Bachelor's Degree (Preferred in Marketing, English, PR or related field) *2-3 years of social media/content strategy experience *Ability to travel within Massachusetts as well as other states occasionally *Video production a plus *Cannabis industry experience a plus
