Cannabis Shift Lead Budtender Strong Sales Customer Service Experience Req D Jobs

We are looking for a bright, friendly, and enthusiastic Shift Lead/Budtender to join our Kind Farma team at our Davis, CA dispensary! Qualified candidates must be self-driven, dependable, organized, and have prior shift lead experience. Overall, we are looking for someone who will deliver consistent and positive customer experiences.

Essential Functions:

• Provide Excellent customer service
• Detail oriented
• Key holder
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of duties or delegated tasks
• Advanced product knowledge
• Cash handling
• Manage time efficiently and effectively
• POS operations including creating new orders, adjusting open orders, adding items, discounts, applying loyalty points, cashing out orders
• Pass on information to upper management from customers and vice versa
• Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with upper management and coworkers
• Work with others to create a positive environment to best serve our customers

Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma (Required)
• Regulated Cannabis Industry: 1 year (Required)
• Cash handling: 1 year (Required)
• Shift Lead Experience: 1 year (Required)
• Budtending: 1 year (Preferred)
• Retail/Hospitality Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sales/Customer Service: 1 year (Required)

Communication Skills:

• Must possess proficient English skills, both written and verbal.
• Must possess effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner.
• Ability to create and compose written materials with proper English grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to communicate clearly with employees, management, and team members.
• Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural business environment.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Must be a self-starter with a strong sense of self-development.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and time management skills.
• Demonstrated approachability and customer service skills.
• Possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to understand regulations, in particular cannabis retail markets.

• Ability to frequently bend and/or twist at waist/knees/neck to and from seated position while working at desk/bench and reaching for equipment.
• Ability to frequently communicate with others.
• Ability to maintain long periods of mental alertness and attention to detail while setting priorities, meeting critical deadlines, and following up on assignments.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push and/or pull up to thirty (30) pounds.
• Ability to lift or carry up to thirty (30) pounds.
• Ability to function in an environment with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to deliver quality results under high pressure deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to demonstrate normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; maintain corrected hearing and vision to normal range.

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

• Primarily a heavy trafficked retail setting in a cannabis dispensary with moderate noise levels.

Job Type: Full-time (Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends with a minimum of 32 hours of availability per week)

***Must be available for EVENING and WEEKEND shifts.***
