TITLE: Risk Management Services Representative I
REPORTS TO: AVP, Risk Management Services
SUPERVISES: No one
SUMMARY: Under general supervision, provides service and guidance to Risk Management members. Opens new accounts, maintains existing accounts, and performs ongoing compliance monitoring specific to Risk Management Services accounts.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- With tact and professionalism, provide service to Risk Management Services members by opening, servicing, and maintaining Risk Management Services accounts including business accounts, checking accounts, online banking, etc.
- Establish and enhance member relationships by assessing members? needs and recommending products and services.
- Follow regulatory and policy compliance requirements in regard to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations, Identity Theft Red Flags, and other compliance-related policies.
- Maintain operational knowledge by staying informed of policies and procedures.
- Comply with credit union operations and security procedures including Currency Transactions Reports, Suspicious Activity Reports, and other credit union safety and security matters.
- Assist in the operation of the credit union?s anti-money laundering program.
- Complete BSA reports consistent with BSA requirements for the cannabis industry.
- Assist in the performance of day-to-day monitoring of compliance related to Risk Management Services; including audit and validation of accounts, and OFAC monitoring and reporting.
- Performs Member Service duties and is able to perform the functions of a Member Services Representative II/New Accounts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
