Reports to: Regional Marketing Manager
Position Overview:
The Promotions & Outreach Associate assists with developing, maintaining, and promoting effective community and customer outreach efforts resulting in increased brand awareness and traffic to dispensaries. Working closely to the Regional Marketing Manager, the promotions and outreach associate is responsible for planning and executing both physical outreach (i.e. attending events, coordinating marketing activities within the dispensary) as well as promotional activity such email communications, social media marketing and more.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Facilitate planning to identify and establish marketing and outreach opportunities within the local community based on revenue goals, community opportunities, and other factors.
- Track and report on community marketing and outreach activity against determined goals.
- Work with Regional Marketing Manager on creating and executing promotional marketing (i.e. text, email, collateral and merchandise)
- Work with community partners on a range of marketing and outreach activities to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to dispensaries.
- Organize events and activities, including community partners
- Support online community building efforts through supporting social media efforts including but not limited to posting and engaging.
- Attend meetings and present verbal and written reports.
- Adherence to all state-specific regulations and laws.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- Experience in cannabis promotions and outreach preferred.
- Strong understanding of community outreach programs and an ability to leverage to drive KPI’s.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid business acumen, management reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and achieve results both internally and externally.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with confident leadership.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Must be able to travel as necessary, working evenings and weekends
Travel %: 20-30%

- This job operates in an office setting and is largely sedentary, requiring the routine use of a computer and other standard office equipment. The ability to lift or move up to 5 pounds, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks may also be required.
