Job Description:
The Product Marketing Lead will interface directly with the Engineering, Product Marketing, Product Development, and Sales teams in addition to end customers and our marketing team (and contracted agencies) to be the go-to expert on the market, product positioning, and messaging.
You will develop and produce motivational collateral of relevance in multiple formats to a variety of personas to retain and grow revenue. The Product Marketing Lead will help shape go-to-market strategies for existing and upcoming products in the roadmap, working alongside the Content Lead, Demand Gen Specialist, Social Media Manager and Marketing Coordinator.
You are an individual who is passionate about hemp and cannabis, and highly knowledgeable about cultivation methods. You will provide science-backed professional review and feedback on cultivation-specific content for all audience-facing outlets such as blogs, whitepapers, video, social media, and beyond. In short, you are legitimate. There’s nothing on future4200.com or beyond that you don’t already know. You have been at the forefront of the industry for some time, and you routinely recognize mistakes in the science of others. You have supreme confidence in your cultivation prowess, and you’re able to see the evolution of the space from past to present and future.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with the product team to understand value-proposition and system highlights of products and technologies and how they fit into the greater product catalog.- Identify target buyer personas most likely to purchase our solutions and the market problems our solutions can address.
- Develop and execute product launch plans garnering market attention and customer pipeline growth.
- Understand and articulate product core competencies to guide and build buyer profiles.
- Manage relationships with copy and content creators to vet for scientific accuracy and popular opinion of informational content.
- Translate science-heavy and tech-forward content in an intuitively understandable manner to a mass audience.
- Fiercely uphold the position of all content, backed by science, research, and thought leadership.
- Work collaboratively to achieve key objectives across touch-points ranging from data sheets and short-form writing to multimedia storyboarding.
- Constantly have a pulse on industry trends, market problems, and how the Agrify stack can solve for those.
- Engage SMEs, technical and industry experts across the company to ensure alignment on brand, messaging, and positioning
- Understand grower and operator user personas and how to leverage those with Agrify cultivation solutions.
Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years’ experience in the cannabis industry- Experience with cannabis cultivation technology and scientific products across all growth elements
- 5+ years’ operating or working in cannabis growing facility
- Demonstrates deep knowledge of hemp and cannabis
- Has a deep understanding of the culture and history of cannabis
