Position: Pest Control Advisor / Field Sales Representative

Location: Southern Oregon

Reports to: Director of Agronomy

Until now, the Cannabis and Hemp Industry has not had access to the pricing, infrastructure, and institutional knowledge of Traditional Ag. We leverage a team of experienced, licensed agricultural professionals to help cultivators grow the highest quality cannabis and hemp, to the largest possible yield, at the lowest price.

Job Description: The PCA / Field Sales Representative position is a Senior Agronomist position that is responsible for sales, operational support, agronomic data collection, data analysis, recommendations and technology integration. The position works closely with the Executive Team, Agronomy Team and the Operations Support Team.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Management of existing customer base
• Identify new key customers, understand their business, determine their needs and develop plans and actions for sales territory growth
• Communicate with Executive Team your initiatives, objectives, strategies, and action plans
• Responsible for sales territory budgeting, forecasting and analysis
• Implement sales strategy; meet sales goals; and network with industry representatives to expand sales opportunities
• Build product and market knowledge to add understanding and credibility
• Become primary contact between your customers and Agrarian Supply including deliveries, forecasting, credit, complaint handling, custom application, etc.
• Strictly follow all company policies which includes safety & regulatory

Skills and Qualifications Desired:

• Ability to self-motivate and work independently with minimum supervision
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills to small and large groups with an ability to lead and influence
• Detail and accuracy orientation with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel
• Good interpersonal and team building skills with a positive attitude and ability to establish relationships with peers and customers
• Dependable & reliable
• Occasionally may need to work Saturdays in season
• Proficiency with standard software including MS Office Suite
• Minimum of five years’ experience in production agriculture
• BS in Agriculture, Plant Science, or Horticulture
• Current Pest Control Advisor License Required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel by automobile or commercial transportation to meeting locations or customer farms
• Ability to work long periods of time while standing
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift (up to 40 lbs. safely) easily

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual Salary (to be determined based on experience and other factors)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
