JOB SUMMARY
The Parking Lot Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the parking lot operations and the execution of traffic management. The Parking Lot Supervisor will give daily direction for parking lot setup of signs and cones, ensure proper staffing for the designated lot condition, monitor/direct traffic, lead and supervise parking lot staff and lot attendants, ensure all equipment and signage is put away at the end of the day, conduct trainings for parking lot personnel, and provide input on performance of parking lot personnel. They work outdoors in all weather conditions and are required to be on their feet for the duration of the shift.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
- Greet and guide all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner
- Respond to guest concerns respectfully and calmly
- Maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor
- Manage and resolve conflicts by following all policies and procedures
- Ensure staff take their appropriate breaks without affecting coverage
- Supervise staff to ensure staff follow policies and procedures
- Resolve customer issues and complaints by providing the ultimate customer experience
- Ensure customers are exiting the parking lot safely
- Resolve parking lot disputes that occur between customers
- Attend and participate in daily briefing open and closing meetings with Retail Management
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and development to staff
- Report unethical conduct of customers, employees immediately (example: solicitations of tips/bribes, allowing unauthorized access onto grounds)
- Responsible for assisting and participating in area emergency, evacuation plan, and evacuation drills
- Possess a high level of area knowledge and the operations associated within the area assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years' experience in a Supervisory role
- Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and able to stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills
- Must be focused, pay close attention to detail
- Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
