Job Mission:
*The METRC Inventory and Compliance Manager will be responsible for our daily inventory in the METRC database in our Distribution and Retail departments ensuring we are following regulations and operating procedures. This employee will be responsible for monitoring the system and resolving any issues related to each license.This is an exempt, salaried position.**Essential Functions:
- Execute daily inventory assignments including pulling, moving and storing product
- Understand the BCC Regulations and requirements for Distribution and Retail and have the ability to use them when explaining processes
- Monitor METRC activities in Distribution and Retail which are not limited to package creation, transfers, adjustments, and finished products
- Identify and resolve physical and digital inventory discrepancies
- Audit and report on METRC/Treez data regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Work along with compliance team to identify problems and suggest solutions while gathering all necessary information in a timely manner
- Ensure all inventory are compliant with state and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisor
- Provide ongoing feedback and suggestions for continuous process improvement
- Fully complies with the company’s safety instructions and procedures, including timely reporting of any accidents, injuries or incidents involving physical injury or illness.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
Education/Permits/License :
- Associate Degree in Business or equivalent
- High school diploma or the equivalent in 3+ years work experience
Experience :
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 2+ years of experience in cultivation or production management
- Cannabis experience preferred including strong working knowledge of cannabis goods and strains
- Computer Literate
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Ability to type 50 WPM
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have strong communication skills-written and verbal
- Must have strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of METRC, Treez, and Cannabis compliance rules and regulations preferred
- Ability to work with Treez and METRC to resolve any issues
- Must have strong knowledge of spreadsheets and basic data analysis (sorting, filtering, etc)
- Must be organized with the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to operate in a controlled track and trace environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong time management skills
- Strong inventory background
- Ability to use problem solving skills
Physical Demands:
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to type, handle, feel and see
- The employee is regularly required to walk, sit, talk and hear
- The employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or reach
- The employee must have ability to occasionally safely lift and/or move minimum of 50 lbs.
