Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle initial contact with prospective clients, schedule meetings, draft Representation Agreements, prepare and send conflict checks
- Calendar management of client meetings, depositions, court appearance dates, and telephone conferences
- Responsible for docketing deadlines in accordance with individual State and Federal rules
- Perform a full range of general administrative tasks from case intake through matter resolution
- Electronically file documents with various courts (State & Federal) and governmental agencies
- Draft, prepare, and distribution of legal correspondence
- Review, analyze, and organize email correspondence and update Case Management List
- Review and format of legal documents
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation
- High attention to detail
- Ability to successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Provide outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services and meet or exceed client expectations. Proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help others
- Strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent followup skills
- Ability to read and understand legal terms and a variety of legal documents
Qualifications & Prior Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field
- Preferred Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
- Preferred knowledge in Net Documents, Action Step, and Asana
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
