A DAY IN THE LIFE
Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, soil, tobacco, cannabis, and toxicology testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.
Enthalpy Analytical, a subsidiary of Montrose Environmental Group, is currently seeking a Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to join our San Diego team of aquatic toxicologists. Enthalpy is a consulting laboratory focused on the analysis, integration, interpretation, validation, and application of high quality toxicity data.
This individual will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week. Some weekend work or holiday scheduling may be required.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provides support for laboratory testing including preparatory work and some
- Helps troubleshoot facilities issues
- Assists with general lab maintenance and cleaning
- Cleans and maintains glassware and plastics with minimal breakage
- Driving the seawater truck and assisting in courier activities
- Assisting with animal care and maintenance
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a lab setting desired
- Must have ability to follow directions and work in a team setting
- Good communication skills required
- Detail oriented
