- Verify patient certifications along with any limitations set forth by the certifying physician

The Lead Dispensary Associate is responsible for assisting the Dispensary Management team in all operational aspects of running the dispensary and ensuring each patient receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. Assist Patients and Customers with their personal needs, maintain solid product knowledge, and always provide the highest level of customer service.

- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to Patients clearly and effectively.
- Ring up sales on Point of Sale System and process cash transactions.
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
- Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Facilitate the new membership and Patient renewal processes.
- Perform data entry and manage the Patient database.
- Dispensing medical cannabis in Medical Marijuana Use Registry.
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Book appointments for Patients for services they request.
- Maintain a current stock of Educational materials, new patient folders etc.

Education and/or Work Experience

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, bank teller, or other work experience with strict compliance standards preferred.

The Security Agent at Ascends primary responsibilities are but are not limited to the following. The Dispensary Supervisor will set the standard for performance and keeping associates motivated. The role requires excellent leadership qualities and gain and understanding of dispensary inventory and products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide best-in-class customer service to customers
- Follow and uphold established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and strains in the store as well as industry-wide product knowledge, and train and share that knowledge with other members of the team
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the Assistant Manager and General Manager
- Assist all Dispensary Associates in the consultation of all customers to ensure that the employee is informed of the right product choices by being knowledgeable of how different methods of cannabis consumption affect customers differently
- Complete and appropriately delegate tasks assigned during scheduled shift, including:
- Correct cash handling
- Accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Accurate and timely data entry in both the POS system and inventory tracking system
- Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
- Ensure adherence with security measures and safety compliance
- Maintenance of an organized and clean store
- Management of visitor log
- End-of-day daily update emails
- Ensure accuracy with the vault
- Work with the Management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations
- Daily activities, maintenance, and data collection for any reported issues and/or complaints
- Open and closing procedures
- Assist with the onboarding and training of new staff in partnership with the management team
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Cannabis experience required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Strong retail math skills required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ year in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic
- Understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills
- Must be focused, pay close attention to detail

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Part-Time Pharmacist to join our AWH team! The ideal candidate should have a passion and working knowledge base of cannabis and a desire to help others. Strong adherence to protocol and compliance are must-haves for this role.
The Pharmacist will conduct consultations with patients, reviewing their current medical conditions along with medications, provide marijuana education, discuss the forms of consumption that are available in the dispensary and make appropriate recommendations while adhering to state guidelines and regulations. You will communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to implement and maintain deals, protocols, policies, and procedures in accordance with company standards.
Role Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Become proficient with point of sale system (MJ Freeway)
- Track various metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Ensure compliance with all PA Medical Marijuana rules and regulations
- Verify patient certifications along with any limitations set forth by the certifying physician
- Conduct patient consultations, provide marijuana education, discuss forms of consumption available, make appropriate recommendations/follow-up on patients progress when applicable
- Maintain records for all necessary patient related documents
- Cultivate a partnership with the Dispensary General Manager (GM) and dispensary staff
- Encouraged to participate in advanced cannabis education, on-going research, discoveries, safety measures, etc.
Role Requirements
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania (B.S. or PharmD), with an active unrestricted license in good standing
- No prior license revocation
- Must have already completed the Pennsylvania Department of Health 4-Hour CME Course
- Additional CE credits, beyond the required 4-Hour PA DOH CME Course, which are cannabis based, preferred
- Must be able to complete both internal and external background checks, clear of felonies
- 3+ years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- MTM certification preferred
- Must be proficient with computers, POS systems, excel, word and Microsoft Teams
- Proven organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Time and attendance efficient
- Have a proven record of working effectively with patients
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

The Lead Dispensary Associate is responsible for ensuring each member receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. Assist patients with their personal needs, maintain solid product knowledge, facilitate new membership and member renewal processes, and always provide the highest level of customer service. - Assure each new employee is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in his/her role
- Assure each employee has state-required training documentation and sign offs are documented appropriately and compliantly
- Act as keyholder when serving as Manager on Duty, performing opening and closing duties as detailed in Standard Operating Procedures
- Update all online and in-store menus, both digital and print, upon change of sales floor inventory

The Lead Dispensary Associate is responsible for ensuring each member receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. Assist patients with their personal needs, maintain solid product knowledge, facilitate new membership and member renewal processes, and always provide the highest level of customer service. Develop and oversee Curaleaf's programs and assures all new team members are properly trained in all aspects of their positions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards
- Develop and maintain rapport with our members, vendors, service providers and staff
- Ensure members' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently andcommunicate member requests and/or problems to Director when needed
- Recommend, select, and help locate the proper medicine for members depending on their individual needs
- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to members clearly and effectively
- Ring up sales on Point-of-Sale System and process cash and ATM transactions
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management
- Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock andparticipate in inventory counts
- Facilitate the new membership and member renewal processes
- Perform data entry and manage the member database
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member
- Frequently maintain dispensary's cleanliness, i.e., dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Perform other related work as required
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Assistant Dispensary Manager-Administration with store initiatives
- Continually evaluate and improve training materials and program based on new employee feedback and performance
- Work with Assistant Dispensary Manager-Administration to assure new associates receive comprehensive, reliable, consistent dispensary training
- Assure each new employee is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in his/her role
- Assure each employee has state-required training documentation and sign offs are documented appropriately and compliantly
- Act as keyholder when serving as Manager on Duty, performing opening and closing duties as detailed in Standard Operating Procedures
- Update all online and in-store menus, both digital and print, upon change of sales floor inventory
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in medical cannabis industry highly desirable, but not required
- Must be 21 years old
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computing skills
- Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match
- Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction
- High level of integrity
Physical Requirements:
Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a cash register, credit card machine, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires close vision with the ability to see color and adjust focus. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Under the direction of the Dispensary Manager, Assistant Manager will oversee the operation of the Curaleaf Dispensary. Assumes full management responsibility in the absence of the Dispensary Manager. This person will work to improve dispensary sales, profitability, and image through extraordinary customer service, protection of store assets, supervising team members in the absence of the store manager.
Customer Experience
- Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members. Offers feedback and coaching.
- Greets patients and offers assistance with products and services.
- Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and Curaleaf service traits.
- Resolves customer complaints and helps respond to customers' special needs.
Operations
- Supervises operation of the store and team members, opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation and scheduling team members
- Supervises the control of the store money including register counts, withdraws from the bank, armored car pickups, safe deposits, change orders and oversees all aspects of bookkeeping including ledger, invoices, cash reports and time records.
- Learns to analyze inventory trends and supervises inventory management, including ordering items, keeping stock, and leveraging company resources to avoid outs and overstock.
- Supervises receiving, stocking, pricing, returning, and transferring of merchandise. • Ensures that store/grounds are clean and presentable; manages repair and maintenance; responds to emergencies.
- Supervises operations of assigned location including strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintains knowledge of all computer and technology systems and software (e.g. registers, Biotrack, etc.). Ensures response to all systems problems by contacting information technology support and seeking solutions.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned, including assisting team members as needed.
- Willing to travel to other locations for training and/or coverage Daily Planning and Execution
- Assigns daily operational responsibilities and tasks and sets expectations for store team members and assistant managers. Business Performance Management
- Receives exposure to analysis of financial and performance data for the store, pharmacy, and clinic.
- Reviews and analyzes asset protection data and develops and implements action plans to reduce loss. People and Performance Management
- Manages team member performance by assigning responsibilities, setting goals and expectations, observing performance, providing feedback and giving recognition. Manages employee career progression.
- Ensures training of team members; provides coaching and mentoring. • Issues constructive discipline and makes discipline recommendations.
- Promotes teamwork and motivates team members by establishing expectations, tracking results, showing enthusiasm and sharing the vision.
- Ensures compliance with all corporate policies, applicable employment laws, and is consistently fair in the treatment of all team members.
- Develops and delivers performance management for direct supervises. Training and Personal Development
- Participates in the company and on-the-job training to improve skills and productivity and attends training requested by the Dispensary Manager, Director of Dispensary Operations and other company leaders
- Follows performance improvement plans offered by dispensary manager and director of dispensary operations
- Seeks self-development by monitoring own performance, setting high personal standards, learning about the fields of retail, pharmacy, and management, seeking best practices.
Communications
- Communicates regularly with team members through one-on-one discussions, group meetings, soliciting input, answering questions, and ensuring communication are open between management and non-management team members.
- Assists Store Manager in planning and attending community events.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree prior to position start date or High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year of retail supervisory experience
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry desirable, but not required
- Must be 21 years old
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
- Must be able to work weekends and some holidays
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computing skills
