Our leading cannabis company is looking for a highly motivated, positive and compassionate Assistant Store Managers for our five locations in Maine. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, retail sales experience, managerial experience, constant desire for self-improvement and attention to details.
We are a full service, alternative medicine boutique that hosts an on-site medical cannabis caregiver, operating in full compliance with state and local law. We also operate adult use cannabis locations in full compliance with state and local law.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Store Manager in the daily business of operations
- Carrying out directives given by the Store Managers and Executive Staff
- Clearly communicate any issues or concerns to the Store Manager including but not limited to essential needs, product needs etc.
- Strategizing to continue company growth
- Delegates effectively to complete daily tasks and upkeep the store aesthetics
- Supervising “Lead Budtenders” to ensure accuracy in procedural tasks
- Actively listening and providing direct feedback both positive and negative to all Lead Budtender and Budtender staff
- Stay knowledgeable of current and possible future procedures
- Diffuses any difficult customer situations that arise in a professional manner, ensuring the customer leaves happy
- Focus on sale and promotion initiatives with staff
- Building long-term customer relationships
- Oversees the closing and opening of the store
Required Skills
- Outstanding in-person and and phone customer service/sales skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly in a positive and informative manner
- Thriving to perform job duties in a fast-paced work environment
- Demonstrated proactivity, flexibility, adaptability, and multi-tasking
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct
- Skills in accurate cash management and inventory control

Required Experience
- 5 + years experience in a fast-paced client-service intensive industry—hospitality and retail backgrounds preferred
- Computer operations necessary for running an office/retail center (POS systems; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
- High level inventory and cash management skills
Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- High school diploma, Associates degree preferred
- Reliable transportation
- 2+ years in a managerial/ supervisor role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
