Assistant General Manager
JANE Dispensary is a medical cannabis boutique in The Delmar Loop that provides sophisticated experience and knowledgeable support. JANE is committed to helping shed the stigma of cannabis by creating a safe and comfortable environment for all. We seek to educate the public and bring quality premier products to qualified patients in Missouri. We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Understand, adhere to and enforce all state-specific regulatory compliance measures – Including product-handling, seed-to-sale tracking, HIPPA, health/safety policies and operational guidelines
- Assist in retail management, employee development, employee disciplinary action, operational duties and community involvement as directed by the General Manager
- Maintain familiarity with all new and existing product offerings – Understand the differences in the purported effects and effectiveness of the medical cannabis strains available, and the methods of their use
- Educate staff on new products, schedule demos and staff trainings from outside vendors
- Operate and troubleshoot state-wide track and trace system, inventory adjustments, cash management, facility surveillance systems, scales, equipment, software, etc. – Ability to adapt to new systems, strong technical skills preferred
- Oversee the opening and/or closing of the dispensary - arm/disarm security systems, record beginning and end of day information into the statewide track and trace system, and guarantee all necessary steps have been completed at the start and finish of each day
- Manage all aspects of Patient Home Delivery services – coordinate with Try Doobie to facilitate smooth delivery operations, train delivery staff on Delivery Standard Operating Procedures, analyze profitability and efficiency as it relates to current service area/order minimums/order windows/etc.
- Monitor sales and communicate directly with the Purchasing Manager and General Manager to determine the anticipated supply/demand needs of the dispensary based on profit margins, sell-through rates, top selling products and low-performing products
- Coordinate with Purchasing Manager to receive incoming product shipments, ensure intake shelves are prepared for all incoming deliveries, verify accuracy of product quantities and package tags before signing off on Transportation Manifests
- Maintain strict inventory accuracy - Track all incoming product and input any data necessary for inventory control records into the statewide track and trace system using precision and attention to detail - Identify, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies upon discovery
- Control all intake, tracking, storage and distribution of staff samples in accordance with state compliance measures and company policies
- Update all inventory logs, product menus, promotional materials and patient materials as new product offerings become available
- Accurately weigh, package, label and stock products for the dispensary floor
- Maintain compliant waste disposal and accurately log all wasted materials into METRC
- Manage climate control, quality inspections, sanitation and security procedures to prevent loss, diversion, waste and/or contamination
- Collaborate with General Manager and Director of Operations to facilitate all necessary state compliance measures, including but not limited to: facility site inspections, document requests, complaints, violations, draft rule revisions, METRC holds, product recalls, etc.

Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the dispensary, including evenings, weekends & holidays
- Required to complete a fingerprint-based federal and state criminal background check conducted by Missouri State Highway Patrol – Must be free of disqualifying felonies
Required to obtain a Medical Marijuana Facility Agent ID Card issued by Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS)
