Job Description
The Extraction Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively converting cannabis materials into high quality medical cannabis oils. Responsibilities include:
- Performing their duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all Oklahoma regulations for this industry.
- Carrying out all extraction, extract processing, product formulation, filling and manufacturing procedures in an efficient manner that also complies with OMMA regulations, Connect Labs SOP’s and all applicable laboratory procedures.
- Packaging in the medical cannabis product line as needed.
- Ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures. Data entry to Metrc tracking system.
- Performing in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed specifications and patients’ expectations. Such quality assurance work shall include but not be limited to:
- Recording and monitoring process conditions to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures
- Proper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking throughout the process
- Work with 3rd party laboratories on sampling and lot control for their sample gathering and reporting.
- Continually strive to improve processes for improved patient safety, quality, and efficient manufacturing
- Support new product and process development work
- Monitoring and managing lab and processing equipment supplies and inventory.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum.
Age: Applicants be 21 years old and over.
Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years of applicable medical cannabis or related extraction, formulating, and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality. Experience with closed loop BHO (butane, propane, mix gas) systems and ethanol extraction preferred; including large scale production FECO, sugar/ wax, live sugar/resin/wax, and shatter..
Physical Requirements: Include standing, bending, and lifting up to 70 pounds by themselves and 75+ pounds with a buddy, carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and making adjustments to process equipment.

Job Overview: The Cultivation Technicians are responsible for assisting with all aspects of the company's cultivation operation from propagation through harvest. Essential functions include, but are not limited to, watering plants, potting plants, cloning, IPM applications, pruning plants, cleaning, and resetting rooms. Other miscellaneous tasks that fall under the day-to-day management of our gardens will also be expected.
Under the supervision of the Director of Cultivation, this team member will ensure that the facility is always kept safe and compliant with all state and local regulations. Cultivation Technicians will be responsible for many key day-to-day tasks that keep our facility operating smoothly and our production cycle on schedule. Having a positive mindset, a capacity to problem-solve, as well as a team-first attitude is critical.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including scrubbing and sanitizing trays in propagation room, veg room and various flowering rooms; cleaning miscellaneous growing equipment; transferring plants from one stage to the next; de-foliating plants, removing waste, weighing & tracking plant waste.
- Assist with the coordination of all grow operations including Daily Activities, Quality Assurance, Potting, Manicuring, Harvesting, and Trimming.

Description
This position will report directly to the Harvest Manager and will be responsible for meeting all the listed requirements. The Harvest Technician will be harvesting, curing, and processing all post cultivation plant material to ensure proper status for packaging.
Responsibilities include:
- Operation of all harvest equipment.
- Sanitation of all harvest equipment
- Ensure proper handling throughout the transition of product.
- Maintain consistent cure and processing parameters.
- Harvest on a weekly basis.
- Maintain a clean work environment in all respective areas.
- Ensure that proper protective equipment is being used.
- Assist with all aspects of harvest processing including but not limited to harvesting, monitoring dry phase, moving dried material to trim, trimming, curing, packaging.
- Strict adherence to all SOPs and safety requirements
- Maintain goals set by the Harvest manager regarding the harvesting, drying, curing, trimming, and quality control of product.
- Bucketing, burping, curing, hydrating, and maintaining ideal moisture content at all stages.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist in covering weekend and holiday duties when needed.
