Part Time Cannabis Retail Officer
Signal 88 Security - Central Valley, CA
Central Valley Signal 88 is looking for a Retail Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the client and assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, excellent observational skills and previous surveillance experience, preferably in a law enforcement environment. This person should have the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations while exhibiting patience and a superb attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Surveillance – Patrol the grounds or buildings as assigned, regularly. If suspicious activity is detected, refer to the local authorities. Review surveillance cameras and monitor crowds as needed. Establish and review the identification required to enter the building or property. Verify all doors, windows and gates are secure on the property on a rotating schedule. Escort released employees off the property as well as any other trespassers.- Investigation – Respond to any alerts of suspicious activity. If a person is under suspicion of criminal activity, secure the environment and person, and report to the local authorities. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required- Security guard training certification and California Guard card
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary

As a Dispatcher you’ll play a key role in the entire delivery process from assisting customers place orders to dispatching drivers to complete deliveries.
This is a part time position with the opportunity to grow within the company and become full-time with benefits based on performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, Route, schedule deliveries, assemble orders, and facilitate payment processing.
- Answer Calls with a cheerful, positive attitude pertaining to Dispatch order or Drivers having issues or needing assistance on their routes.
- Maintain an on-going knowledge of company products and current state laws regarding medical cannabis and delivery regulations.
- Monitor routing software and communicate effectively with drivers throughout the day. You’ll be the point of contact if they need assistance while out on a delivery route.
- Responsible for making sure all rostered drivers have a route in the system and in the right delivery area to ensure route completion in a timely and safe manner. You must have the necessary skills and knowledge to make route changes and assignments in the routing software. Training will be provided - judgment is key.

- 2 + years customer service experience
