JARS Cannabis is looking to hire friendly, reliable, hard workers for our New River location. This is an opportunity to learn what working for a dynamic dispensary is all about. We are looking for sales associates and supervisors who are passionate about cannabis and are looking for a long-term growth position within a company. You must love sales and have had previous retail experience.
Our dispensaries offer world class customer service that is delivered in an intelligent, friendly, and casual manner. The staff at our dispensaries are comfortable speaking about cannabis and can make recommendations for all patients and customers. Our dispensaries are fast paced, and every day there is a good mix of neighborhood locals, as well as new and old customers alike.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in sales, retail, or customer service role
- Prior cash handling experience required
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk around daily for a minimum of 8 hours
- Ability to spend entire shift looking at a computer screen.
- Must be able to take directions, listen, and learn.
- Must be positive, outgoing, and welcoming.
- MUST be reliable, punctual, and able to follow a schedule.
- Must have at least a High School Diploma/ GED.
- Extensive cannabis knowledge a plus, including brands and types of products, but it is not a requirement
- Willingness to learn and self-educate.
- Able to identify the different methods of consumption and feel comfortable explaining them to customers.
- Must be able to build a connection with the patients and consumers so you can properly educate them.
- You MUST be a team player.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the facility by always picking up after yourself, patients, and consumers.
- Strong personal hygiene.
- Complete all tasks delegated by your manager.
- Basic Math Skills, Computer Knowledge Required.
- Familiarity/comfortable learning a POS system/new software
- Any experience that is pertinent to the position should be outlined on your resume.
- Must be at least 21 or older and be able to pass a background check as well as a Fingerprint Background Check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Team Leads are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in ensuring that all daily operating procedures are performed as required. Team Leads are expected to lead by example and encourage other team members to promote the companies’ image of perfect customer service and excellent visual presentation of the dispensary. Team Leads will also maximize sales through the constant development and supervision of sales staff. Team Leads are also responsible for ensuring transactions are carried out in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in overseeing and ensuring all staff adhere to state rules and regulations while following all company policies and procedures
- Supervise; manage, and direct the activities of sales associates including breaks and shift changes
- Oversee and inspire staff to deliver the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction
- Ensure staff members remain in compliance with applicable local, state/provincial, and federal laws and regulations
- Assist with customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Facilitate money drops and replenish change when necessary
- Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in collaborating with law enforcement, vendors, landlords, and local community representatives as needed
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all strains and products within the dispensaries’ inventory, as well as industry-wide product knowledge and trends
- Assist in training new employees to follow standard operating procedures and scheduled shifts
- Provide Spring Big assistance, and manual discounts as needed
- Help maintain the flow of the sales floor, host if needed, place people in their proper roles
- Assist Inventory Team in moving products and stocking sales floor
- Directly reports to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manger
Requirements
- Leaf Logix experience
- Dispensary Experience
- Leadership experience 1 year at least
