Job description:
The lab analyst will be responsible for assist in conducting and analyzing laboratory results using established procedures. Specific job responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
1. Working with state of the art equipment in ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
2. Maintaining workplace and operations to ensure quality goals are met.
3. Maintaining a level of professionalism within the laboratory environment among other employees and external clientele.
4. Review test data .
5. Maintaining a knowledge of equipment and methods to ensure data quality.
6. Maintaining effective communication channels with laboratory personnel and upper management.
7. Use of a variety of software applications and cloud-based platforms.
8. Assist in efforts to maintain compliance to various state/federal regulatory agencies.
At a minimum, the Lab Analyst must have:
1. A bachelors degree in chemical, environmental, or biological sciences from an accredited college or university; or
2. Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.

Job description:
The lab director will be responsible for the supervision of all laboratory staff and ensure that the laboratory achieves, and maintains, quality standards of practice. Specific job responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
1. Effectively overseeing, maintaining, and monitoring laboratory accreditation to
ISO 17025:2017 standards, and identifying issues that may adversely impact test data quality.
2. Evaluating situational conditions and directing or modifying operations to ensure quality goals are met.
3. Assuring all laboratory standard operating procedures (SOP) are kept up to date and followed by appropriate personnel.
4. Maintaining a strict level of professionalism within the laboratory environment among other employees and external clientele.
5. Review/publish test data as ordered by clients.
6. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of applicable scientific principles to know or predict the effect of changes to procedures and their effect on test data quality.
7. Recognizing laboratory problems and prioritize their resolution for minimal impact on test data quality and operations.
8. Maintaining effective communication channels with laboratory personnel and upper management.
9. Proficient in the use of a variety of software applications and cloud-based platforms.
10. Monitoring/maintaining compliance to various state/federal regulatory agencies.
At a minimum, the Lab Director must have:
1. A doctorate degree in chemical, environmental, or biological sciences from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 2 years of post-degree laboratory experience; or
2. A master's degree in chemical, environmental, or biological sciences from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years of post-degree laboratory experience.
