Grand Flower Growers is a local greenhouse that supplies spring and summer annuals as well as fall mums to Home Depot stores in Chicago. We are currently looking to fill a grower position to oversee their own growing area. This position involves watering crops, either by hand or with overhead watering systems; and controlling pest management by spraying, running pesticides through the watering system, scouting, and putting out sticky cards. This position also involves spraying crops with fungicides, pesticides, and growth regulators.

This individual would work closely with the head grower and must be able to communicate with the other growers to ensure crops are healthy. We are also looking for a self-motivated individual who can work on their own under the direction of the head grower.

Benefits and compensation will be discussed based on experience level. We also have yearly bonuses and opportunity for growth within the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
