Silver Star will be providing on-site security and compliance services as well as transportation of medical cannabis.
Duties Include:
- Perform security patrols of external and internal areas of locations.
- Monitor surveillance and security alarm systems.
- Provide assistance to business owners in emergency situations.
- Keep detailed logs and records of incidents at assigned locations.
- Other duties assigned by Silver Star Protection Management
Qualifications:
- Military or law enforcement background preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Must be able to obtain a Cultivation/Dispensary Identification Card.
- Good credit record.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- A professional appearance and demeanor.
- Able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time.
Licensing:
Silver Star Protection Group will provide armed security licenses following this breakdown.
- If employed with Silver Star Protection Group for less than three months, the entire amount (100%) will be deducted from paycheck.
- If employed for three months only 75% of the overall cost will be deducted from paycheck.
- If employed for six months 50% of the overall cost will be deducted from paycheck.
- If employed for nine months 25% of the overall cost will be deducted from paycheck.
- If employed for one full calendar year Silver Star Protection Group will cover the entire cost of your armed security license.
- Should you fail to stay employed with Silver Star Protection Group for the full calendar year, you will be subject to a $30 fee and sent to collections.

- Communicate with sensitivity and respect for patients, staff and visitors
- Perform opening and closing procedures as directed
- Ensure departmental and dispensary compliance to state and local laws
- Ensure accuracy of assigned cash register
- Prevent the diversion of medical cannabis to anyone other than authorized patients
- Have complete knowledge of the seed-to-sale software and adhere to patient purchase limits
- Communicate regularly with Management to satisfy department needs and patient feedback
- Maintain overall appearance, organization and cleanliness of the dispensary and your assigned work area
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings
- Assist in the inventory process as requested
- Ambassador for the company while at work and off

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid PERC card and 20-hour unarmed security training.
- Must have an Original Firearm Training Certificate, issued by IDFPR; and have completed a re-qualification within the past 12 months.
