Role Summary:
Business Development and Sales Director for Nirvana Cannabis Investments- 5150 N’Fusion. The role purpose is to leverage and develop opportunities, leading to revenue and profitability growth for Nirvana’s portfolio of successful cannabis businesses in the State of Missouri and beyond.
The position requires an individual to live and build Nirvana’s talent and culture. We seek an individual who is a visionary, agile, and a cross-functional leader looking to build and develop a cutthroat B2B and B2C sales team.
Skill sets must be heavy on talent leadership via critical fact-based decisions to grow sales and profitability. This person must possess the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external customers, while effectively executing multiple duties.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Business Development Focus
- Lead internal meetings with key department heads (5150/Bold Lane/Marketing/Ops)
- Open new partnerships and markets, to build revenue and profitability for Nirvana
- Good grasp of industry trends, basis for strategic planning and budget forecasting
- Drive local market knowledge insights and other relevant data for the target market
- Present and execute strategies and tactics for expansion vs competitors in the marketplace
- Identifying new product opportunities and sourcing partnerships
- Always think and communicate new ideas or ways to improve workflow and productivity (Efficiencies and Effectiveness)
Sales and Customer Focus
- Identify, Cultivate, and Exploit upstream and downstream selling opportunities
- Build a team that understands and communicates pricing and promotional plans opportunities across all business units (internal and external)
- Build and execute strategies/tactics for expansion vs competitors in the marketplace
- Selling and merchandising plans developed and executed for B2B and B2C
- Build/Exploit relationships with 5150 operations and Nirvana marketing teams
- Execute/Lead brand promotions with B2B and B2C
- Always think and communicate new ideas or ways to improve workflow and productivity (Efficiencies and Effectiveness)
Management and Research
- Track and communicate distribution and sales for 5150
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed with the company’s CRM or other sales management system
- Manage issues with accounts, including handling returns, credits, replacement stock, etc.…as required
- Forecast sales and budgeting targets for the team
- Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light
- Present business development training and mentoring to internal staff
- Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities
- Understand the company’s goal and purpose to continue to enhance performance
Candidate Requirements:
- College Degree
- 5+ Years of CPG, B2B sales, and team leadership
- Brand Equity Leader and Creative Promotional Development and Execution Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Security Transportation Specialist will transport product between Nirvana Investment facilities and various locations throughout the state.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal/external customers
- Operate under security protocols and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal agencies
- Submit reporting and security observations accurately and timely
- Maintain a secure vehicle by; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting the vehicle, equipment and access points; permitting entry
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities
- Provide routine checkups to ensure equipment is operating within compliance
- Load and unload vehicles at the destination; prepare transportation manifests and ensure that all appropriate signatures are obtained in a timely manner
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Professionally and respectfully engage with personnel, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a Driver, with at least 5 years’ experience in commercial delivery
- Must have a valid driver’s license along with a good driving record (no violations) record
- Excellent organizational and time management skills High school diploma
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted multiple times throughout shift
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

Nirvana Investments is looking for a full-time Marketing Associate who possess the ability to think creatively, analytically and have the skillsets to plan and execute on a daily basis. This is a team role, working directly with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Director of Digital Marketing, that will ultimately wear multiple hats. Ideally, candidates will have knowledge around the Cannabis industry, but equally important is a desire to learn and grow with our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Communication
- Act as liaison (single point person) across all dispensaries – receiving & distributing pertinent information
- Act as liaison (single point person) for select vendors/suppliers across all Nirvana business units (ex: sourcing branded merchandise, print suppliers)
- Manage daily patient-facing communications* - IM (Instant Messenger) during business hours, social media maintenance, customer service (loyalty programming) *Note: training will be provided
- Manage customer service, reputation/reviews via both pro-active and responsive outreach
- Provide marketing support for B2B customer efforts across all Nirvana business units
- Development of monthly Nirvana internal email newsletter

- Development and management of content calendar with ongoing updates
