The Role
We're looking for a Lab Technician to join our Green Thumb team! This position is responsible for assisting with lab production, which includes but is not limited to distillation, extraction, winterization and production of cannabis infused products. Our ideal candidate for this role is familiar with standard laboratory practices and has previously worked in production laboratory environments. Cannabis is a highly regulated industry, so prior experience working with regulatory requirements and compliance, as well as workplace safety, is highly desirable. If you've previously worked in cannabis extraction and processing – even better!
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory equipment and cannabis plant materials for extraction
- Operate intricate extraction equipment in accordance with Green Thumb SOPs
- Process cannabis concentrates and extracts
- Deliver on production goals, while focused on safety and quality
- Produce product per recipes and SOP's, maintaining high quality standards
- Clean and maintain extraction equipment and laboratory facility
- Store supplies and equipment, dispose of waste according to guidelines, and keep laboratory working areas sanitary and safe
- Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware
- Employee may also be responsible for monitoring production line and collecting samples for analysis.
- Follow SOP and standard analytical procedures to meet Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices compliance
- Record data in lab notebooks, computer databases, and test reports
Qualifications
- Prior production laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred
- Prior experience working in regulated environments preferred
- Prior extraction experience desirable, prior cannabis extraction experience highly desirable
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for dealing with hazardous chemicals
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees

Inventory Associate Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Inventory Associate assists with inventory controls activity – receiving, organizing, stocking, cycle counting, merchandising, tracking, production. The Inventory Associate accurately weighs, packages and labels material and prepares retail products for the sales floor. *We are looking for a farmer to manage and oversee our farming operations at our facility in Cottage Grove. We cultivate hemp in a large greenhouse setting using organic practices. This farmer will, among other things, tend to crops, operate greenhouse systems, fertilize, top dress, water, transplant, harvest, refine and implement SOPs and an agriculture program, and supervise farm labor.

This is a full-time role in a leading cultivation facility in Cottage Grove, Oregon. We are offering competitive compensation commensurate with experience as well as other benefits. Under supervision of our Head of Propagation, this role would be focused on the cutting of varietal “mothers”, propagating, planting, and maintaining our clone inventory. About the Role:
Do you love working with your hands? GTI is looking for a Harvest Technician to join our cultivation team. The Harvest Technician provides manual labor which supports the post-cultivation activities and operations of our cultivation department. This position will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, positive individual who can think of no better way to spend the work day than potting, big leafing, and harvesting our cannabis plants with expert care and precision.
Core Responsibilities
- Participating in cannabis harvest process including offload, harvesting, sanitizing and reloading flower rooms, milling and destruction of cannabis waste
- Harvesting and drying wet cannabis plants
- Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials and manage cultivation waste
- Cleans and sanitizes dry rooms
- Document any and all activity in Nevada traceability program
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hands-on environment with high attention to detail preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and computer skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
- Attention to detail and ability to focus on one task for extended periods of time

Purpose

Role Overview
Grassroots Cannabis is looking for a Trimmer/Packager who can become an integral part of our organization and grow with our company. The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative and passionate, able to be flexible in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while multi-tasking to achieve harvest and packaging goals and deadlines.
In this role, you will work to efficiently trim cannabis plants, while creating minimal waste, resulting in a high-quality product that is compliant and ready for sale or processing. Once the plants are cured or processed, product must be successfully packaged while maintaining quality and achieving necessary efficiencies. Additionally, this role will perform some administrative duties when needed including: data entry, data transmitting, phone answering, email answering, and document production. This person will be responsible for maintaining and following Grassroots Cannabis cultivation procedures.
Role Responsibilities:
Hand trim flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring a quality product
Package, label, and fulfill product orders while maintaining high levels of quality
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Count, transport, and track inventory and raw material levels as directed
Sit and/or stand for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented trimming and packaging
Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch, in addition to usable by-products
Demonstrate proficiency with weights, measurements, and basic math
Assure daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to: state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules
Operate with integrity and honesty
Perform any other duties as assigned
Role Requirements
Experience with legal marijuana growing, trimming, and packaging preferred
Must have accuracy and consistency while trimming and weighing product
Familiarity with warehouse and inventory procedures
Computer, mathematics, language, and reasoning skills
Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale
Ability to stand on feet or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to use repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms
Must have the ability to focus on a task for long periods of time
High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Must be 21 + years of age
Must be able to obtain a state issued cultivation badge, which includes passing an FBI and State background check with no felony or drug related convictions
