About Ripple:
Ripple produces the most innovative and consistent products in the marijauna market, including: Ripple Dissolvables, the O.G. fast-acting, water-soluble powder; Ripple Gummies, clinically proven to be 2X faster than the competition; and Ripple Quicksticks, the most convenient and fun way to get the fastest THC.
At Ripple, our mission is to improve people’s lives through cannabinoids. We give people consistent experiences they can count on, and we give those experiences two times faster. We pride ourselves on great products, great people, and great science. We are singularly focused on quality, which to us means doing things the right way, right from the start. We know that success isn’t found in shortcuts or silver bullets. We put in the work, and damn right we’re proud of it. This is a wild, wild industry, and we love working in it, but only with those who want to do things right.
About the job:
We are a 100% vaccinated company. All employees must either be fully vaccinated or in the process of becoming fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to help us launch our Michigan market! You will prospect, build, and maintain relationships with Michigan medical and adult-use retailers from the Indiana border to Kalamazoo to Lansing.
As a Territory Sales Manager you will be seeking out opportunities, developing relationships, supporting accounts, and closing new business in your region. In addition, you will identify new prospects and areas of growth potential. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong work ethic, customer-centric thinking, and a collaborative mentality. You must be comfortable moving forward within a fast-changing market landscape that presents both our biggest obstacles and greatest opportunities. This is not a “call-it-in position” and the role requires frequent travel within your territory for face-to-face meetings and training with your accounts.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Executing on defined sales and marketing strategies to achieve both operational and revenue goals (new points of distribution, customer retention, merchandising, budtender training, velocity improvements, in-store promotions, sales targets, etc.)
- Conducting diligent pre-call planning, route management, as well as tenacious follow-ups
- Assisting Field Marketing Manager with securing Customer Appreciation Days (CAD’s) at your accounts
- Working with management to understand the competitive landscape and market trends and then putting a proactive plan together to win
- Representing the Ripple brand and effectively communicating our value propositions and technical differentiators
- Spending a minimum of 4 days per week visiting accounts
- Following our defined sales process and contributing to process evolutions and improvements
- Following any MRA regulations and rules as it relates to responsible sales and marketing practices
- Maintaining CRM records for customers and leads
What we’ll love about you:
- You consider yourself highly accountable. You take responsibility for your actions, close the loop, and freely admit error.
- You love the challenge of growing a business and are relentless in pursuit of your territory sales budget.
- You treat your accounts as partnerships and understand your partners’ businesses are as important as our own. We are successful when they are as our partners.
- You’re a road warrior who enjoys personal engagement and interaction with all retail staff including security guards, budtenders, and buyers.
- You’re organized and proactive. You love using tools and systems that make you more effective and efficient in your work.
- You think of selling as a team sport. Yes, each member needs to pull their weight but, you recognize and believe that we can do more together than as individuals.
- You’re a natural extrovert who derives joy from human interaction and enjoys the challenge of initiating new sales relationships.
- You have an understanding and passion for the THC/recreational edibles market.
- You’re a problem solver who prides yourself on managing complex situations without panicking.
What you’ll love about us:
- We are a team of competent, motivated, diverse, and decent professionals.
- We are a workplace of adults who value reasoned debate over political maneuvering. We try to do the right thing and, more importantly, we try to identify and admit when we don’t.
- We offer competitive salary, flexible PTO, 100% paid health benefits and sick leave for all full-time employees. We too value health, relaxation, and spending time with friends and family.
