Full Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Head Grower to manage our Tier-2 indoor grow operation. Primary responsibilities will be to optimize all the tasks in the grow including cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, and topping. This individual will need thorough attention to detail to achieve consistent high-quality, marijuana products.

Duties/Responsiblities:

• Develop cultivation plan
• Organize and provide efficiencies of entire propagation timeline from cloning to harvest
• Ensure growth requirements of cannabis plants are consistently met (lighting, soil PH, nutrients, etc.)
• Apply appropriate indoor farming methods to increase yields
• Diagnose plant health and provide recommendations to improve/keep consistent
• Manage plant scheduling and organization to precisely project all garden needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Analyzing each individual strain from clone to flower to harvesting
• Mastery of various growing methods and mediums, including in-depth knowledge of PH and PPM
• Mastery of Soil growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation
• Consistently track data pertaining to CO2, temperature and humidity and adjusting accordingly
• Expert knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options and management techniques that fall within LCB approved measures
• Plan out the days/weeks/months in advance and communicate labor hour needs with team
• Well researched in new techniques, high yield recipes, strain specific recipes, different lighting systems and set ups
• Advance knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics
• Ability to diagnose and resolve plant health issues like mold, mildew, or other infestations
• Compile facility preventative maintenance schedule and ensure employees are completing tasks
• Training all new garden hands in a manner consistent with company grow standards
• Following all LCB requirements and policies in garden practices

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum 3 years commercial grow experience as a Master/Head Grower
• Proven experience as grower on a large scale to include management/leadership experience
• Ability to be at facility 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday and occasional Sunday.
• Must have excellent communication, team building, and strong management skills
• Must be able to pass extensive background check (no felony convictions)

Preferred Experience:

Degree in Botany, Biology, Agriculture, Horticulture, or relevant field

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
