Summary of Position: The R. Greenleaf Store Manager position is the supervisor assigned to oversee the daily functionality and performance of a distribution/clinic location. Clinic Managers are responsible for overall store management, to ensure the safety, policy adherence, inventory control, cash control, patient and customer satisfaction, compliance, and the expectations of upper management. Clinic Managers are also expected to function as the point of contact for their location in conversations with management, as well as with the New Mexico Department of Health and Regulation and Licensing Department, in both written and verbal communication (as required). It is expected that someone in this position can and will perform all the functions of a Budtender and Shift Lead, as well as that of a Clinic Manager, as necessary according to the needs of the organization, including for training purposes. As a Patient Service Provider (Budtender), you will operate with direct supervision from the Patient Service Provider management team. As Regional Director of Rocky Mountain Cannabis鈥檚 New Mexico market, you will be responsible for managing the operations of multiple stores within the region. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting, hiring, and training store managers, setting store-specific sales goals, tracking sales performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring that the stores adhere to company policies as well as industry regulations.
Because our New Mexico market is new, this position will have a unique responsibility when it comes to developing and implementing store operations and processes, training programs, and assisting in facilitating new store launches.
Note: Due to the amount of travel between southern New Mexico stores, the ideal candidate for this position will reside in the southern part of the state.
Job Duties -
- Adhere to all company- wide policies; including dress code, professionalism and core values (stated below).
- Analyzes POS data to create sales goals and overall sales weekly snapshot for teams.
- Identify hiring needs in the stores and help recruit, hire, and train new sales staff. Works with COO and VPs to develop a state-wide training program for New Mexico staff.
- Assists COO and VPs with new market launches and new store openings
- Regional Directors are in charge of on-the-ground store checks, which is inclusive of filling out the store checklist report, addressing each section with the manager, sending a follow up email, and cc鈥檌ng the corporate team.
- Proactively conduct store visits as needed, on a quarterly basis at minimum.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 with store managers
- Train managers on performance review process
- Complete annual reviews with every store manager
- Participate in weekly 1:1 with the CEO, COO and CFO.
- Train store managers on corrective action processes, including write-ups and terminations.
- Support Store Managers with day-to-day operations. Be part of the solution, and be available and approachable for the management team.
- Support team members in all positions, including working on the sales floor as needs dictate.
- Manage and create SOPs as needed. This might include SOPs based on inventory processes or any new store processes (online ordering, for instance).
- Address compliance issues and create solutions to said issues.
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction.
- Work varied hours and days as business dictates. This may include working remotely.
- Abide by and implement all MED rules and regulations, as well as all RMC processes, policies, and procedures.
