Summary
The Inventory Supervisor oversees and coordinates inventory operations & logistics to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency. This position accurately documents and tracks all cannabis product inventory from inception to final sale within the compliance software program, as well as all internal tracking systems. An Inventory Supervisor will work with multiple departments that are utilizing the software program, such as Sales, Research & Production. Candidates will be versed in all inventory procedures to prevent loss through expiration, diversion and other issues related to commercial cannabis handling and processing. A successful candidate will have previous experience and enjoy a fast paced, growing company, in an ever changing industry. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Have a basic understanding of state compliance laws regarding labeling, inventory, testing, transfers and manifesting
- Document and enter all cannabis inventory into the compliance software and other internal tracking systems
- Auditing Inventory Control Forms in conjunction with the software to identify discrepancies, while reporting and identifying Root Cause for discrepancies after an audit has been performed to evaluate what issues had occurred
- Log all transfers from inventory items into finished packaged sellable units

Performing daily, weekly and bi-weekly audits to ensure inventory is 100% accurate and satisfies physical representation per state rules and regulations
- Keep inventory levels within a 5% parameter
- Preparing documentation for marijuana waste disposal
- Fulfill orders, complete manifest documentation, facilitate with the intake and outtake of product with Account Managers and Sales Support
- Will be assigned as the point of contact to assist in any issues with dispensary counts or manifests
- Work with production to manage laboratory testing of products and the tracking of that data
- Maintain a clean and extremely organized inventory vault
- Create solutions to streamline facility processes
- Create schedule for inventory employees
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
- Assist the Production Supervisor or Director of Operations as needed
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree preferred
- At least 3 years of directly related experience and/or training in an inventory, analyst or logistics role or environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency preferably in a fast-paced work environment. Must have strong attention to detail. At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with METRC or other cannabis inventory tracking systems is preferred.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
- Ability to obtain a Dispensary Agent card in AZ
- Food Handler's Card a plus
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.

Compensation
