Summary of Job:
Manage the UAMPA In-Office Dispensary including all oral oncolytics and cash pay erectile dysfunction medications
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Fill, sell, and obtain insurance authorization for all prescriptions run through the UAMPA In-Office Dispensary including but not limited to oral oncolytics, tadalafil, and sildenafil.
2. Ensure all patients in the free drug programs are receiving their medication.
3. Serve on the PI committee.
4. Purchase and log all oral medications.
5. Monitor all Prostate Cancer Foundations and ensure patients obtain needed foundation money.
6. Manage all compliance processes for the In-Office Dispensary
7. Ensure protocols and practices are compliance with CMS and ACHC rules and regulations.
8. Conduct quarterly audits to ensure proper dispensary workflows are being followed.
9. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the UAMPA management team or physician partners.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
1. Required license: certified medical assistant or certified pharmacy technician
2. Three + years of medical/pharmacy experience required
3. Knowledge of Allscripts not required but a plus
Job Requirements:
1. Employee must be able to communicate clearly with patients.
2. Employee must be able to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time.
3. Employee must be able to be active and mobile for an eight hour period.

Urology Associates of Mobile, PA, a busy 14 provider Urology practice in the Mobile and Baldwin County, is currently seeking a full time In Office Dispensary Technician to join our amazing team.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage process of filling, selling, and obtaining insurance authorization of all prescriptions run through the In Office Dispensary including, but not limited to, oral oncolytics and erectile dysfunction drugs.
2. Manage all patients run through the free drug programs. This will consist of assisting the patients with the appropriate paperwork and ordering refills as needed.
3. Serve on the Performance Improvement committee.
4. Purchase and log all oral medications and buy & bill drugs through the distributor.
5. Manage the pre-certification process for all buy & bill drugs. This will include oral and injectable medications.
6. Monitor all Prostate Cancer Foundations and ensure all patients are able to obtain needed foundation money.
7. Manage all compliance processes for the In Office Dispensary.
8. Ensure workflows stay in compliance with CMS and ACHC rules and regulations.
9. Conduct quarterly audits to ensure proper dispensary workflows are being followed.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
1. Required license: Medical Assistant with CMA or RMA credentials.
2. Three years of relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of certifications.
Job Requirements:
