We are currently looking for an Import Associate to join our growing team!
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a focused and goal driven Import Associate to join our expanding team. In this key role, you will work closely with most departments, clients, and FDA / USDA agencies to expeditiously and successfully prepare, complete and forward all documentation relative to FDA sampling, testing and reporting.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate FDA sampling from beginning to end. Speaking with the clients, arranging the sampling/pickup, testing and reporting to FDA.
- Reports submitted to FDA must be prepared accordingly, proof read, and submit final analytical packages to the FDA in a timely manner.
- On a daily basis, ensure accuracy of LIMS FDA data entries by effectively review daily sample receipts to ensure accuracy of collection reports, Notices of Action, packing lists, etc. for correct entry of tests needed in LIMS.
- Interact via phone call or written correspondence via email and/or fax to FDA, vendors and clients.
- Actively participate in all FDA Import meetings and Task forces.
- Respond to client questions/concerns in a timely manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree Minimum.
- Minimum three yearsโ experience in Customer Service.
- Critical thinking โ using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Active listening โ giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points and asking questions.
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience working in a productive environment, handling large volumes of work accurately and within established time lines.
- Excellent organizational skills - ability to use your time, energy, resources, etc. in an effective manner.
- Time management โ oneโs own time and the time of others.
- Training โ teaching and guiding others how to complete a process from beginning to end.
- Strong relevant qualitative and quantitative skills.
- Good communication skills โ speaking, reading, writing and listening.
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
