Sensient Natural Ingredients is looking for a Grower Relations Manager to be responsible for providing leadership and overall direction for the selection, development and management of a stable grower base, and the delivery of raw materials in support of the Company’s business strategies and business objectives.
What is thrilling about this role?
- You will play a key role in the success of the global operations and supply chain of the business, by managing and expanding our grower base in California to reach our yearly global business targets.
- You will become an expert in our rigorous onion and garlic seed development, stringent virus-free programs, ground and grower selection, with full vision over planting, harvesting, and production.
-
You will lead special projects to guarantee the long-term sustainability of the business.
- You will supervise Field Representatives that are responsible for advising growers on planting, harvesting schedules, and crop management during the growing process across California.
What do you need to bring?
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, crop science or related field
Extensive experience in large crop production with increasing levels of responsibility
Grower contracting experience, as well as Pest Control Advisor Certification are highly valuable
