Job Title: Garden & Farm Assistant
Location: Eugene, OR
Job Type: Part-time, 10-20 hours per week
Salary: $15 - $20 / per hour

General Description: We are seeking a motivated, hard working individual to join our home operation as a Garden & Farm Assistant. This is a part-time position, 10-20 hours per week. Pay starts at $15-$20 per hour based on experience. After a 90 day review period, pay may be increased up to $25 per hour.

Job Description: Provide a range of landscaping and garden maintenance for our home farm and garden operation. Assist with gardening, landscaping, farm operations, and general handywork. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail, good listening skills, and good organizational skills, but prior experience is not required. Must have transportation and a cell phone with texting capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with care of cannabis and hemp plants, indoor and outdoor
• Assist with care of fruit and vegetable crops
• Help maintain lawn and landscape with mowing, weedeating, and general landscape care
• Help with general handyperson work around the property (i.e. - fence repair, roof cleaning, gutter maintenance, construction, trash removal, etc.)

Required Skills:

• Must be able to regularly lift 20 lbs, and up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a cell phone with texting capabilities
• Must have excellent listening skills and be self-motivated to stay on task

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year gardening experience (preferred)
• 1+ year construction / handyperson experience (preferred)

Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends
