Cannabis Garden Shift Lead Jobs

We are looking for a Shift Leader to oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts. Shift Leader responsibilities include managing cash, resolving conflicts and checking equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively. If you’re a leader committed to quality service and have experience in our industry, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
• assign duties
• Manage time-off requests and handle last-minute absences
• Train and coach new employees
• Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed
• Address customer and employee complaints
• Resolve conflicts between workers
• Foster and maintain a positive work environment
• Understand aspects of gardening, Cloning, PH, cleaning up plants, Trellising

Skills

• Proven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant managerial role
• Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations
• Commitment to excellent product
• Working well within a team
• Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast
• Strong problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to stand for long periods
• High school diploma is preferred
• be able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple time a day.
• Great Attitude.

The perfect candidate for this position is someone with at least two years of cannabis growing experience. This position requires strong leadership, a great attitude and problem solving skills. The garden shift leads must be able to manage a team of 2-4 and communicate effectively with them and other shift leads and management.We are a fun, hardworking team that grows in the summer and expands in the winter, and the key to our success is effective communication and efficient planning.

This is a Salary position. Be prepared to work more than 40 hours a week in the summers.
