Cannabis Full Time House Graphic Designer Jobs

L&K Distribution is a leading pioneer in the CBD, Vape & E-Liquid industry.
We are seeking a full-time, experienced and talented Graphic Designer to be responsible for creating a wide variety of creative assets from Social & Digital Marketing Assets, Trade Marketing Materials, Product Packaging, and Merchandise & Branding.

This position is located at our La Mirada, CA office.

What to expect:

• Be proficient and efficient in designs within a wide range of media including social media assets for promotions, e-commerce hero banners and e-mail marketing assets, trade marketing material, merchandising, product development, packaging design, and infographics.

• Be able to curate completed assets from initial concepts to design layouts, with the guide from the Project Manager.

• Prepare and package digital files for print production including PDF proofs, bleeds, trims, color separation, cropping, for an assortment of potential products and updates to packaging in an efficient manner.

• Be able to use your creativity to curate engaging content with an understanding of its audience, and delivery methods. Always striving for improvement, adaptation, and strategies.

• Produce social and digital marketing content for an assortment of e-commerce or online stores from Hero Banners, email marketing advertisements, social advertisements, and many more.

• Utilize Branding Guidelines to produce effective trade marketing materials from flyers, menu cards, digital guides, with the adaptation for both digital deployment & physical print.

• Create, conceptualize, and develop graphic layouts with a creative understanding of font hierarchy, consistent spacing, and messaging flow for both internal and external client-facing projects.

• Follow Brand Guidelines, including logo usage, typography, photography style, color usage, and other specific design elements to create innovative and attractive deliverables.

• Work as a team with a think-tank to explore new ideas, concepts, and effectively applying them from concept to design.

• Be able to work efficiently with project dead-lines, last minute projects, and rush projects.

• Be able to effectively communicate within the team to continue to provide effective deliverables for the targeted audience.

• Maintain a fun and professional attitude, we want everyone to grow within their capabilities, skillsets, and creative mind-sets.

• Possess strong conceptual design skills with a keen sense of awareness of the industry, marketing, visual keys, to apply to current work-flows.

What's required:

• Experience in Graphic Design specifically for the deliverables desired (e.g. Trade Marketing, Social Assets, Merchandising, Product Packaging, Branding, Product Development)

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe inDesign.

• Proficiency in Cinema4D, Maya, Adobe After Effects, Lightroom, a plus.

• Knowledge within the Vape, CBD, Hemp, Cannabis Space is a plus!

• Highly effective working in a team-oriented environment.

• Effective working under tight deadlines, prioritizing issues, and managing concurrent assignments.

• High level of awareness, attention to detail, while working on multiple projects across different brands.

• Great communication skills.

• Team Player and Willingness to Learn.
