Full Job Description
Spacestation, California’s premier cannabis beverage co-packer and distributor is currently seeking a Freelance Website Developer/Designer. The Website Developer/Designer will work directly with the CMO. I am looking for a Web Designer/Developer with passion and who has the hunger to prove and show off his/her skills. Must have strong experience in the buildout and maintenance of multiple Wordpress websites at a time. The ability to work within different templates, plugins and applications. Strong knowledge of SEO and good practices to improve site speed and performance.
Requirements
- Expert in HTML & CSS
- Expert in Wordpress
- Expert with Wordpress Themes
- Create and test applications for websites
- Collaborate with team on improvements
- Build new websites quickly and efficiently
- Organized with good coding practices
- SEO Experience
- Knowledge on good practices to improve website performance
- Ability to work with graphics designers and branding guidelines
- Troubleshoot website problems
- Maintain and update multiple websites
- Monitor website traffic and metrics
- Stay up-to-date on website systems and technology
- Good communication skills and people skills
- Experience in Powerpoint and Excel
- Experience in building landing pages to increase conversions
- Passion for Cannabis is a bonus
Freelance: $25-$35/hour
