Job Purpose
The Edibles Dishwasher and Cleaning Associate is responsible for washing all wares including pots, pans, utensils, and glassware, by hand and/or using dishwashers. This team member will also correctly store items in their designated locations and clean various areas of the production floor. Ability to follow instructions as outlined by Management to ensure adherence with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) principles is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:  
- Wash pots, pans, utensils, and glassware, by hand and / or using dishwashers
- Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
- Stocks sanitation cart with soap water, rinse water and sanitation quat solution in correct buckets
- Tests quat solution at start of day to ensure proper ppm status; populates applicable log
- Collects used utensils and other items from production area’s
- Completes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sanitation tasks as per Master Sanitation Schedule (cGMP)
- Utilizes designated brooms, dust mops, steam mops and walk behind floor scrubber to clean and sanitize the production floor and vault daily
- Daily trash removal
- Manages pick-up and distribution of sanitized scrubs and towels from laundry service
- Maintains organization of cleaning supply storage closet
- Ensures hand soap and paper towel dispensers are full at all times
- Assists in cleaning large-scale production equipment as needed
- Assist in packaging and labeling, as directed
- Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the organization
- Performs duties in a clean room environment: scrubs, properly applied disposable face mask, hair net, gloves, beard net (where applicable) must be worn at all times
- cGMP guidelines must be followed at all times. Works with senior staff to ensure facilities' compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Promotes an environment that fosters positive communication with all staff and supervisors
- Behaves in a respectful and pleasant manor
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications & Skills_*

Qualifications include:
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Experience within commercial kitchen or food production environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Flexibility to work during weekends
- Attention to detail is an absolute must
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to understand and meet Kitchen standards for health, safety, and excellence.
- Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
- Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff.
- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Strong communication and writing skills with demonstrated ability to work as an individual contributor and in a dynamic team environment.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements 
Exposure to pollen, allergens, and natural pesticides in the grow facility
- Exposure to low humidity environment 
- Extremely active and physically demanding; position requires ability to move quickly and efficiently, ability to push and pull carts, carry items weighing 50+ lbs., ability to lift items overhead; ability to maintain briskly paced production environment. 
- Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to odors, indoor AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water. 
- This position will be required to adhere to all current COVID19 safety regulations that are in place including but not limited to:  always wearing a properly applied face mask, maintaining social distance at all times as well as observing all other company policies. 
- Stand for 6+ hours at a time. 
- Bend, squat and stoop, twist and bend the neck and waist and reach above and below shoulder height to grasp objects. 
- Use hands for repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
