Ascend Wellness Holdings is looking to hire a Dispensary General Manager with cannabis industry experience for our Grand Rapids 28th St, Michigan location!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DISPENSARY GENERAL MANAGER

As a Dispensary General Manager, you have the important role of overseeing retail store operations and ensuring a positive customer experience. Intent on building a stellar team, you recruit and hire top candidates to staff our cannabis dispensary. Organized and attentive to detail, you create effective work schedules and encourage communication as you conduct team meetings. As a natural-born leader, you enjoy training, managing, and motivating your employees.

You are not only talented at managing staff; you also have strong business management skills. Driving sales growth is an exciting challenge, and you proactively analyze key business metrics to create action plans. You recognize the importance of effective P&L (profit and loss) management and keep a careful eye on expenses and accounts receivable to optimize revenue.

You sign off on product buys from our wholesale partners and ensure security and loss prevention policies are followed. Passionate about our quality products, you have expert knowledge of our merchandise as well as cannabis state-specific regulations and laws. You strictly execute and enforce internal compliance controls and ensure reports and audits are completed on time. Personable and respectful, you foster productive relationships with regulators, inspectors, and law enforcement personnel.

Coordinating with management, you implement successful promotion strategies and drive the success of our loyalty program. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DISPENSARY GENERAL MANAGER

• Demonstrated success with managing retail location(s)
• Experience with P&L (profit and loss) responsibility
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
